Massai’s Beauty Line

For my Personal Project, I formulated and created four sample beauty products that consist of two lip glosses, body butter, eyelash serum and lip balm. I chose this topic in hopes to pursue a career in the beauty industry in the future and eventually start my own makeup line. Throughout the project, I used both my research and creative thinking skills to be better versed in this field and unpack what goes into making the makeup products that are worn. I was then able to design recipes and produce the sample products.

This is the Beauty Log I used to write down recipes, notes, and reminders while making the products. I kept a Beauty Log for each item I produced to stay organized and have a reference to look back at.

Double boiling process while making the lip balms with 100% natural bees wax.

First attempt at pipping out the body butter. This batch was not used as I have to re-formulate my recipe for a smooth and hydrating finish.

Pink and red lip gloss duo, smooth, nourishing, with a glossy finish perfect on your natural lips or over lipstick for extra colour.

Lip balm made from 100% natural beeswax, cocoa butter and coconut oil to replenish and heal dry lips.

Strengthening eyelash growth serum suitable for everyone to use.

Here are all the products laid out starting from the eyelash serum, body butter, lip glosses and lip balm. All of these products were created to enhance and nourish your natural beauty.
