Junior Political Committee

Hi delegates and fellow advisors,  my name is Helena Schlosser. I am currently a junior at Our Lady of Mercy School of Rio de Janeiro. This year, I am honored to have the opportunity of serving as the Head Chair in the Junior Political Committee. 

During this conference, I hope to foster an environment that I fell in love with ever since my first Model UN conference, where I was captivated by the engaging community, building of friendships, and course, a lot of productive and complex debates. I will also focus on fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere where delegates can flourish in debate, even those attending a Model United Nations conference for the first time. 

Outside of MUN, you will catch me cooking, spending time with my friends, and binge-watching Friends.

Hi delegates! I am Maria Eduarda Moura Brasil, a student at The British School Urca, and I am excited to be chairing the Junior Political Committee at this year’s BritishMUN.

MUN is a great way to learn about diplomacy and international relations, but what I enjoy most is how it brings people together. It’s not just about debate—it’s about connection, perspective, and collaboration. 

Outside of MUN, I enjoy writing, reading, watching tv shows like Gilmore Girls or hanging out with my friends.
