English Junior Beach Sprint Championships 2026

Venue & Logistics: 

Location: Knoll Beach, Studland, BH19 3AQ

Parking: Paid Parking is available directly next to the beach.

Ferry: Please allow extra time to account for the Studland ferry crossing. It runs every 20 minutes and costs £6.26 per crossing per car. 

Events & Eligibility: 

This is an Open Entry event, though previous experience in rowing on the sea is compulsory. 

If you would like to gain some Beach Sprint experience before the event, please contact one of our coastal sculling academies.

• J18 Events: CJ18W1x, CJ18O1x  - Competitors must have been under 18 on 1st September 2025 (ie. born on or after 1st September 2007);

• J16 Events: CJ16W1x, CJ16O1x - Competitors must have been under 16 on 1st September 2025 (ie. born on or after 1st September 2009).

Entry Fee: £30 per event

Entry Limit: Capped at 24 Women's and 24 Open entries.

Every competitor is guaranteed a minimum of one time trial and one side-by-side race. 

Entry Deadline: Entries for this event will close on Wednesday 5th August at 12:00 (Midday).

Equipment:

Boats: All boats will be provided (Swift 1x)

Blades: Competitors should bring their own blades however some blades may be made available for hire.
