The Digital World

The Bristol Township School District is a Google Apps for Education School District. Students are assigned school district email accounts. The accounts allow students to have access to the applications that are included in the Google Suite. Access to these applications prepare students for the global workforce.

Google Classroom is a free web service for schools. Classroom makes it easy for learners and instructors to connect—inside and outside of schools. Teachers can create assignments, post announcements, and share resources for students to have access to 24/7. Students can submit assignments, collaborate with classmates, and communicate with their teachers virtually.

Preparing Our Students for the Digital World

Professional Learning

Across the Bristol Township School District educators are implementing strategies that increase our students' ability to navigate and learn the digital world. Our educators are provided with contemporary professional learning opportunities that focus on infusing technology across all content areas to improve learning.

Student Learning

Students learn about Digital Citizenship using Commonsense Media Curriculum. Our students are also learning how to leverage technology and apply their learning through design thinking and Challenged Based Learning activities. Educators have access to applications that improve delivery of content and assessment.

Currently teachers are using Flipgrid, Kahoot, Quizlet, Socrative, Padlet, and Nearpod to name a few applications to engage learners with digital media.
