Welcome back!
It is an absolute pleasure to welcome all our children back after Easter. We are all rested and refreshed and ready for the new school term. Children across school have attended plenty of educational visits, represented school in sporting events and helped raise plenty of money for various charities.
The summer term is looking as busy as the spring term!
KS1 Trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Children in KS1 visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park to deepen their knowledge on the animal kingdom and the Arctic.
They got to see all of the animals and took part in lots of different activities throughout the day.
World Book Day
Children across school made a great effort dressing up for World Book Day 2025. There were some amazing costumes!
They finished the day by having a party at the World Book Day Disco!
Red Nose Day
We raised a fantastic £220.95 for Red Nose Day this year.
Thank you for all of your support for Red Nose Day.
Forget Me Not Day
We raised an amazing £247.41 on Forget Me Not Day. This will be split between Rotherham Hospice and Bliss.
Thank you for your continued support.
Y2 Easter Service Visit
Year 2 got the chance to visit St Mary's Church to attend the Easter Service.
The children listened to the Easter story and took part in lots of Easter activities.
Girls Sports Week
In March, girls from across the school got the opportunity to attend Rotherham School Games Girls Sports Week.
The girls took part in a variety of different sports - rugby, cricket and dodgeball. It was a fantastic opportunity for all of the girls to try new sports and learn new skills in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
Attendance
It is really important that your child arrives at school on time and attends everyday. Just 15 minutes late per day is over 1 hour of lost learning.
Well done to all of the children who have been awarded silver and bronze awards so far this year.
