WHAT IS DRIVE MINISTRY?

DRIVE Ministry is a children's discipleship program sponsored by the 58 Partners Foundation. The program serves low-income, at-risk youth in Columbus' Hilltop and Franklinton neighborhoods. DRIVE stands for DISCIPLE, RESTORE, INSPIRE, VALUE, and EMPOWER.  Our mission is to exemplify to the youth a life driven by Christ.

WHAT WE DO:

DRIVE Ministry transitioned to Briggs in  January 2023. Through the leadership of Simon Baik, Danny Nam, and Daniel Chim (our very own student leader here at Briggs), DRIVE has built a partnership with Briggs Road Baptist Church in order to provide a haven for these kids to learn, grow, and be discipled in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

On Thursday nights, the kids are transported, fed, taught, discipled, prayed for, given the opportunity to worship, and allowed time to play and experience being kids for the night. This partnership has become a blessed opportunity for Briggs to minister to our surrounding community.

DRIVE Ministry is always open for more volunteers and kids to join the program. If you're interested in knowing how you can be a part of it, stop by on a Thursday night at 6PM (arrival begins at 5:30-5:45) or contact Daniel Chim or the church office for more information.
