COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a comprehensive, college-preparatory laboratory science course that covers the major concept areas of Marine Science including both biotic and abiotic components of the Ocean systems. This course provides numerous opportunities for students to develop content knowledge, and critical thinking skills. Investigative, hands-on lab activities that address the high school inquiry standards are an integral part of this course. The course will consist of non-fictional readings, experimentation, independent projects, and a variety of written assignments.
