Second grade has been learning about the voting process. They have learned the importance of registering to vote, getting to know the candidates and “casting their ballot”.
The students have practiced filling out a voting registration form, and a ballot form. The students participated in a Cookie Election, the candidates they voted for were the Chocolate Chip Cookie and the Milano Cookie! The winner was announced Monday (Before Election Day)followed by the election party.
