We are excited to inform you of the commencement of the building works at our school within approved planning permission. This work is to enable the school to expand to one form entry so will provide an additional classroom, 3 SEND rooms, a DT/Cookery/Science room and other essential resources for our pupils.

Planning permission was sought and gained on 4th June 2021 (Planning Reference CC/ROC/20/21) however, delays were then caused by Brexit and Coronavirus.
The entirety of the works is on the school grounds so it should not in any way prevent access to local pathways or roadways. Access to the school for contractors, essential deliveries, etc. shall be organised for outside pick up and drop off times so as not to further congest the area during already busy times.
Unfortunately, there shall not be any accessible parking available on site for registered disabled drivers. We understand that many families live outside the locality so need to drive but do ask that you consider car sharing or parking a little further along the route then walking the short distance to school - Park & Stride; giving priority to those families that hold a disabled parking badge and to reduce the congestion before and after school.
A local building firm A.W. Hardy Co Ltd have been appointed by the Brickfields Trust to carry out the works. They are familiar with the local area, know many of the residents and are aware of their concerns.
