Option 1: Break Time Visit - Pre University Hub - Address: Calle Magallenes 1 (downstairs to the left of McDonald's) - NEW CAMPUS for Grades 11-12 Students
This will take place from 10:30-11:05am. Students have break from 10:45 to 11:05. This gives reps time to have a chat with the counselor, set up their table in an area near where students hang out (outside when whether permitting; inside on cold/rainy days), attend to their student visitors, and pack up before departure. We kindly request that you arrive at by 10:30am to set up your table. NOTE: for the morning block, this is primarily students in grades 11-12, with some in grade 10.
Option 2: Afterschool Visit - Address: Calle Eloy Gonzalo 5 (main downtown campus if you have visited previously)
This will take place from 4:00pm - 4:30pm. All students end class at 4:15, and so during this visit you have the opportunity to catch students as they walk by your table on the way out (more beneficial during days where we can set up your table outside, but we do offer an inside option on cold/rainy days). We kindly request that you arrive by 4:00pm to set up your table. NOTE: the afternoon block is primarily students in grades 9-10, with some in 11-12.
*For both options, we advertise visits to students/families in advance and highly encourage students to attend, and even for their teachers to come with them to speak with you; however, given that we are a smaller school, we cannot guarantee the number of participants on any given day. We also welcome parents and family members who may be available to stop by as well.
**We accept individual visitors, universities traveling as a group, and/or university tour groups. Please note multiple universities may be visiting on the same day.
Option 3: Adding a visit to our NEW La Moraleja Campus - a new campus in the La Moraleja neighborhood for our students in grades 9-11.
OTHER VISIT & ENGAGEMENT OPTIONS:
Coffee Chat with Counselor - if you would rather have a chat with myself at a cafe nearby, I would be happy to give you a school tour and grab a coffee to learn more about your programs and then personally deliver this information to relevant students. Please let me know if you prefer to have this option during either of the above timings.
Guest Presentation in Academic Classroom - last year we had some interest and luck with pairing university reps up with our academic teachers to give a presentation that matched the subject material of their class. Sometimes this was a nice way for students to learn of a computer science program during their computer science class, or also about a business program during their economics class. If you are interested in this option, do let us know and we can try to pair you up - offered both in person and virtually.
For both of these options, we can help coordinate this for our Chamberi and/or La Moraleja campuses.
