WHY IS THE CUT-OFF DATE WAY BEFORE THE ACTUAL TRAVEL TIME?
The cut-off date is the Sunday before the leave date. Time is needed before the leave date to sort the travel and arrange the buses. House Parents also need these days in order to confirm that the students in their house have travel plans and have time to follow up with those that do not.
Any travel requests or changes after this date will have to be arranged by the student/parents. These are alternate transportation companies the school recommends:

CAN MY CHILD LEAVE EARLY OR RETURN LATE FOR A BREAK?
This needs to go through Mr. Sullivan (email@example.com) and the House Parent for approval before booking flights. Once you have received permission to leave early or return late you can enter your child's travel into MySchool.
WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS TRANSPORTATION OUTSIDE OF A SCHEDULED BREAK?
Please email the House Parents directly, they will organize transportation for your child. If school transportation is available, there will be a charge of $85 each direction. If school transportation is not available, the student/parents will be notified and will be responsible for booking and paying for the taxi.
HOW DO YOU DETERMINE WHAT TIME MY CHILD LEAVES THE SCHOOL?
Students typically leave 3 hours before their flight but sometimes earlier depending on other students traveling to the airport. It can take up to 1.5 hours to get to the Victoria Airport from Mill Bay.
HOW DOES MY CHILD KNOW WHAT TIME THIER BUS LEAVES?
Once the travel has closed and buses have been assigned the leave times will be updated in MySchool (you will receive an email update). The House Parents will also have this information and post it in the houses.
The leave time is the time the bus will depart from Crooks Hall - students must arrive 15 minutes early to ensure the bus departs on time.
**The bus cannot wait for late passengers**
For early morning departures on a scheduled leave, students must sign out with staff members in the lobby of Crooks Hall 15 minutes before the scheduled leave time. RFA's will be on duty starting at 2:30 am to ensure students make their bus.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY CHILD’S FLIGHT IS DELAYED?
Please contact Reception (1-250-743-5521) so that they can let the appropriate bus driver know when to expect your child.
WILL THE TRAVEL REOPEN?
The travel will reopen on longer breaks (Winter Break and Spring Break) after the students leave on Friday and will close the Wednesday before the return date.
