Welcome

Mabuhay and welcome to the Philippines!

The Asia Pacific Activities Conference (APAC) was founded in the 1995-1996 school year and increased from six to twelve teams for the 2008-2009 school year. That year was the beginning of what we call Super Tournaments with all twelve teams. We are thrilled to be holding this year’s Girls Basketball Super tournament.

Basketball is one of the most popular sports in the world. It has over 100 years of history from its beginnings in the U.S. in 1891, and the love of basketball has spread to every corner of the world. At this tournament alone, we have schools from five different countries and athletes from many more joining together for the love of the sport of basketball. You have all put in many hours of preparation. May you play your best and be supportive of your teammates over the next few days.

An APAC tournament brings vitality and excitement to the entire campus, not just the participants. Our students and faculty are looking forward to cheering you on as you compete over the next few days. We wish everyone a safe, positive experience on the court, on campus and in the Philippines. Good luck to all participants and coaches.

Sincerely,
