Hello!
My name is Kendal Seager, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher at Crownhill Elementary this year! This will be my third year at Crownhill, and my fifth year teaching 1st grade. I taught Pre-K for 18 years before taking the leap into Elementary Education. I received my B.A. from Seattle Pacific University, and am currently pursuing a Master's in Education from City University of Seattle. I'm passionate about making learning fun and engaging for all students, and I look forward to knowing you and your students this year.
A little about me and my family:
I have a spirited 15-year-old daughter and a goofy pitbull named Honeybee. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy knitting and spinning yarn, playing roller derby and trail-skating, reading, thrift-shopping, and walking our dog through the woods.
I will do my best to make sure your students feel safe, welcome, and loved in my classroom. We have a great year ahead of us!
