Mrs. Estano

I have a BA in Social Sciences from Washington State University, as well as a MA in Education from City University. I love teaching at View Ridge Elementary Arts Academy. The idea that we can incorporate the arts into our everyday teaching strategies is a perfect fit for my teaching style. I have experience working with at risk youth, as well as having a strong therapeutic background from my experiences as a Special Education Teacher. This allows me to greatly understand the challenges of the classroom and individualize each students experience while in my class. I practice restorative justice in my classroom, helping to build a strong sense of community and self worth. I have also done training on trauma informed care for students. It is my passion to help student achieve all that they can in life!
