Resources that have been tagged "approved and supported" are ones that the technology department has admin rights to, and have agreed to be the contact for support, rostering, and technical difficulties. These include core curriculum resources, some supplemental curriculum, data dashboards, and more. There are also other resources that are supported by Student Services (such as Skyward) and Assessment (such as iReady and Panorama). Â
Resources that have been tagged "approved" are ones that are okay to use, but are not supported or managed by technology or other district departments. You may have to set up accounts for you or your students, add the resource from the Clever library, or contact their tech support for assistance. If there are costs involved, they are not paid for by the district and will need to be funded by either the individual teacher, the building, or the department who wishes to use it.Â
Resources that have been tagged "conditional" are ones that may be in beta-testing mode or are approved for only some people or programs. They may also be approved for only some grade bands. If you think you should have access to a specific resource but aren't sure if your program or grade level is included, please contact your supervisor or principal for more information. Â
Resources that have been tagged "pending" are ones that have been requested but have not been assessed yet. We may be waiting for more information from the company, or from the people/programs who have requested it.Â
Resources that have been tagged "denied" have been requested previously but were not approved. Frequently this is due to issues surrounding student data privacy, cost, or online safety. If there is a resource that you know has significantly improved in these areas since they were denied previously, you are welcome to submit another request for approval and we will revisit it. Please do not re-submit within 6 months of the previous denial unless expressly invited to do so by the tech department.Â
