Teaching practice is the first step to professional activity
The head of the educational and production practice is Vira Pecharska, who professionally leads this important area of pedagogical work. Practical training of students plays an important role in the system of professional training of future primary school teachers. All types of practice are important in the formation of professional competencies, which is the basis of pedagogical skills. It is during the pedagogical practice that students' professional skills are developed, their personal attitude to the world of pedagogy is formed, creative thinking and individual style of pedagogical activity are developed.
During various types of pedagogical practice, students are given the opportunity to understand the laws and principles of education and upbringing, master professional skills, and gain their first practical experience. All lyceums and gymnasiums of the Balta territorial community in Odesa Oblast and other regions of Ukraine cooperate with the college. Primary school teachers are eager to pass on their pedagogical skills and wise advice to future professionals. Starting from the second year of study, students are involved in practical familiarization with professional activities and are convinced that the future of children is in the hands of a teacher, in his or her heart of gold. This is how the trainees see their mentors.
Close cooperation of the college with basic general education institutions, with health centers of the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Children's Center "Young Guard", the State Pedagogical Institution "Artek" in Pushcha Voditsa village, Kyiv region, Children's Health and Recreation Center "Artek-Bukovel", Children's Health Camp "Artek-Prykarpattya" in Truskavets, Lviv region. Truskavets, Artek-Zakarpattya Children's Health Camp, Bereznyky, Zakarpattia Oblast, Children's Camp for Health Improvement and Patriotic Education of Children and Youth in the Carpathians, Sokolyata, Lviv Oblast. Khyriv is the key to employment for our students. Today, many of our graduates work in educational and recreational centers as primary school teachers, organizational teachers, counselors, physical education teachers, art club leaders, social workers, and educational methodologists. The sense of newness and creative attitude to pedagogical work is inherent in the methodologists of pedagogical practice, including both experienced teachers and young colleagues who jointly carry out active and purposeful work on training a creative, creative, highly qualified primary education specialist. The pedagogy of partnership, the pedagogy of humanity is a personal initiative of each participant in the educational process. After all, innovative undertakings, implementation of creative plans, creative searches - all this is possible only with a successful combination of theoretical and practical training of future teachers of the New Ukrainian School.
