Steve Sheinkin Visit

We are so excited to welcome Mr. Sheinkin to Marshall Simonds on March 14, 2023!

His most recent book, Fallout, was the runner up in the Massachusetts Teen Choice Book Awards.

He is the master of nonfiction writing, and his books read like thrillers. We have multiple copies of each in the library, so please stop by to check one out or be added to the waitlist.

The MSMS Learning Commons is gathering items for a student makerspace. There are a number of items that many families would otherwise throw away or recycle that we can use as materials for student projects. Please bring donations to the Learning Commons. The list of accepted items can be found here.

NEW THIS YEAR! Teens across Massachusetts are invited to vote for their top books when the voting opens for the MA Teen Choice Book Award (MTCBA) from September 1-23, 2022. This is the only award in the Bay State that invites students in grades 7-12 to vote for their top new books. You can vote even if you have just read one book! 7th and 8th graders are encouraged to check out the books that say "suitable for all teens."

This site will help you find books based on previous books you liked.
