Jane Deon

Jane Deon is a Secondary School English Language Arts Resident in BTR Cohort 17. She grew up in Vermont and has called Boston home for six years. Jane is passionate about literature, writing, and the power of storytelling. She earned a BA in English from Rollins College in Florida, and later an MFA in Creative Writing from Florida International University. Prior to joining BTR, Jane spent several years as an ESL teacher at home and abroad. Most recently, she has taught writing and literature at various colleges in Boston. She is excited to be a part of BTR and embark on this new path of her teaching career. Jane looks forward to working with her students as they develop an appreciation for literature and their voices as writers.
