Choice 1: Determining the Percent Composition of an Oreo Cookie

Objective: Conduct a lab to determine the percent composition by mass of each part of an Oreo Cookie and then compare it to the percent composition of a Double Stuffed Oreo.
An Oreo cookie is made up of WAFER and CREAMY FILLING. Using provided materials calculate the percent of the cookie that is made up of each part. Compare A regular Oreo to a Double Stuffed Oreo.
Materials:
1 regular Oreo cookie
1 Double Stuffed Oreo cookie
Electronic balance
napkins (to keep cookie from touching scale or bench top)
butter knife
