Educational Background
I started teaching in 2008 and joined the Boyertown Area Senior High team in 2023. I graduated from Lock Haven University in May of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and minors in Reading and Special Education. In December of 2009, I completed my Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Special Education from Kutztown University. In December of 2018, I earned my M.Ed. with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently pursuing a secondary M.Ed. in Instructional Technology.Educational Background
In addition to special education (PK-12) and elementary education (K-6), I earned my certification in general science (7-12) and mid-level certifications (6-9) in science, math, social studies, and English. Over the years, I have taught and co-taught a variety of courses including environmental science, integrated science, general science, chemistry, biology, pre-algebra, algebra, and English. In special education, I have worked in the following environments: learning support, autistic support, multiple disabilities support, life skills support, and emotional support.
