OnRamps US History is a set of two sequential college-level courses offered through the University of Texas at Austin. In these courese, students explore the scope and depth of the American experience, engaging with course material both independently and collaboratively to develop critical thinking skills, analyze evidence-based historical narratives, and conduct archival research. Each unit consists of primary and secondary sources that challenge students to uncover the complexities within historical study.  Students must earn a 60 or better to qualify for the college credit in HIST 1301 and 1302, and must make a 70 or better to earn high school credit.  It is possible to have different grades for the high school and college portions. There is a fee for participation in the course and it offers a 10% additional weight in the gpa calculation.
