Bio with Mrs. Bottalico

Welcome to my website - I’m so excited to begin another school year with you. This is my 17th year teaching and my 12th year at Brea Olinda High School. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach all levels of Biology and Chemistry, and I truly love sharing my passion for science with my students.

I earned my B.S. in Biochemistry from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and my Master’s degree from Pepperdine University. I’ve been married for 14 years to a Brea alum, and we have two daughters who keep us busy, laughing, and on the go!

Outside of the classroom, you’ll often find me enjoying another passion of mine with my daughters — dance! I love that both science and dance give me opportunities to be curious, creative, and always learning something new.
