About Mrs. Wilkes
Welcome to 6th grade math! I cannot wait to get to know each one of you. We are going to strengthen and grow your math skills together this year. Maybe by the end of the year you will even love math as much as I do!
This is my seventh year of teaching and fifth year at HMS. I am a Haughton High School graduate and thrilled to be working in the best community around! I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Math & Science Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership - both from Louisiana Tech University (Go Dawgs!).
I married my high school sweetheart, David, in September 2018. We have two fur babies, Valkyrie (left) and Thor (right). When I'm not teaching, I am either playing with my pups or finding things on Amazon to buy my pups!

Use the calendar to stay up to date on our plan for the coming days as well as important due dates. Please make sure you are viewing the correct event as there is a separate one for Math and APP Math.
