ReviveTech - Summer Retreat

Participants

The ReviveTech Summer Retreat is for Bossier Schools teachers, administrators, and district staff that want to learn about the latest in educational technology. Participants will take away new skills, activities, & techniques to enhance their classroom for the 2019-20 school year.

Keynote Speaker

Marcus Stein

Marcus’ instructional background includes: Middle School English Education, High School English Education, and 1:1 Classroom Instruction. His Professional Development expertise is with Google for Education, ActivClassroom PD Series, Classflow PD Series, Digital Assessment Strategies, Digital Literacy, and Instructional Technology Leadership. His favorite PD series or topic? Screencasting and Flipped Learning Strategies.

Sessions

Each session is designed to be interactive and informative and are appropriate for all grade levels and positions (including teacher and administrators). See the session schedule and session info for more information.

Devices

Participants should bring their own charged devices (Chromebook or laptop) to the retreat. After all, this is a tech retreat, so no paper will be handed out!!!

SWAG and Giveaways

Everyone gets a special gift for attending the conference! There will also be giveaways at the end of the retreat, including some of the technology highlighted in the sessions. Stick around for the giveaways to see what will be given out this year!

Lunch

Coffee, water, and light snacks will be available throughout the day. Since the retreat is FREE to all Bossier Schools teachers and administrators, you will be responsible for lunch. You will be given an hour to enjoy lunch at one of the many establishments close to the Bossier Instructional Center. Lunch will be provided to all presenters.
