National Honor Society

NHS membership is considered one of Parkway's highest honors. Honesty, Character, Service and Leadership are qualities found in NHS members. Sophomores and Juniors who have an overall 3.5 GPA are eligible for selection by a committee of teachers and administrators. New members are chosen in the Spring. Once invited, members must choose to accept membership and pay $25 dues. To maintain membership, students must maintain a 3.50 GPA and not have major disciplinary infractions. As seniors, graduates are recognized by wearing a white collar with their cap and gown. These may be purchased for $25 or borrowed from recent NHS graduates.
