My name is Tammy Vice and I teach English Language Arts and Social Studies to our awesome 5th graders. This is my 5th year teaching at Princeton Elementary. Prior to teaching at Princeton, I was Director of my church’s Weekday Preschool program. I’m a native of Haughton and moved away with my husband, while he was active duty in the USAF. Before relocating here, I taught on the east coast. I’ve taught 2nd - 5th grade and all subjects.
I received my Bachelor's Degree at Louisiana Tech. While stationed in South Carolina, I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education Degree at the University of South Carolina. Close to my heart is teaching the adult special needs class at my church.
My husband, Toby, and I have four beautiful children. They are Trent, Annalee, Tristan, and Samuel. We enjoy sports, the outdoors, games, movies, and spending quality time together.
Parents... Thank you for entrusting your child with me during this school year. I believe in creating a classroom community that promotes a Growth Mindset and nurtures students in a positive way. Checkout the "Resources" section of our webpage for parent resources and more about Growth Mindset.
Students... I'm thrilled you are in my class! We're going to have a wonderful time learning together. Our classroom is a positive place where we encourage each other, fix our miscues (mistakes), and challenge ourselves to learn everyday.
