The Bossier Parish Schools Technology Department consists of the Supervisor of Technology, two Instructional Technology Professional Development Facilitators, three Data Analysts, one Support Specialist, one Secretary, four Senior Technicians, four Field Technicians, one Help Desk Technician, and one intern. The Department is located at the Bossier Instructional Center on Airline Drive in Bossier City. The Bossier Parish School district spans the length of the parish, consisting of 36 school campuses, 22,500 students and 3,000 staff. The network has 275 managed switches, 1700 wireless access points, 12000 managed devices, 3000 phones, and thousands of connected peripherals.

The BPS IT Team designs, implements and monitors one of the largest single wide area network in the parish; monitors and supports 40 local area networks in all schools and administrative campuses; supports email systems, Google Apps for Education; monitors and maintains network security and intrusion detection systems; administers firewall, network, servers, wireless, and data backup.
