Journey To Careers, Principles of Business, IBCA, BCA

I was born in Monroe, La and raised in West Monroe, La. I graduated from West Monroe High School and then attended The Art Institute of Houston where I received an Associate of Applied Science/Culinary Arts. I also attended Northwestern State University where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Natural Science. My wife and I moved to Houston shortly after we married and I worked at Lowe's and Wolfgang Puck Express. When we moved back I continued working at Lowe's until I found another job working at Casco Industries. I worked there until the economy worsened. I worked at Lowe's for 11 years and Casco for a year. I decided that I would try my hand at Substituting. I did this in Webster parish and Red River Parish for 2 years. I have been a permanent sub at Parkway High School for the last 4 years. I have taught Business, Science, Social Studies, and Math. This will be my second official year at Parkway. My wife and I have been married for 16 years. We have a two year old daughter, Mollye, and two fur babies, Katie and Angel. If you ever have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me either in person, via email: mitchell.grubbs@bossierschools.org, or by phone: 759-2278.
