Bossier Parish Gifted Program

Our Mission Statement

To provide a unique program that fosters creativity and innovation while also addressing  the students' diverse needs, strengths and interests.

AIM (Activating Inquisitive Minds) is an academic enrichment program designed to serve Bossier Parish students identified as academically gifted through evaluation in accordance with the criteria stated in the Pupil Appraisal Handbook (Bulletin 1706) of the Louisiana State Department of Education. Students may be referred for screening at any time from preschool through grade twelve. Evaluations are conducted by the parish's Pupil Appraisal department. If a student meets the LDOE requirements for inclusion in the gifted program, an IEP (Individualized Educational Program) is developed annually by the gifted teacher, parent, student, and school official for each identified gifted student.
