GPA Requirements for NHS
All Juniors with a 3.5 cumulative GPA will be given an application for membership in the Spring of his or her junior year. Seniors who did not have the 3.5 GPA his or her junior year but have earned it their senior year will be given an application for membership. These are NOT the only requirements for admission into the NHS. This is the minimum requirement to start the application process.
Other factors involved in admission are: teacher recommendations, disciplinary records, deadline requirements and fees, and National Honor Society teacher/administrator committee approval.
