Gratitude
Life goes by very quickly sometimes. We sometimes forget to show appreciation for people who help us, who care for us, and who do things for us on a daily basis.
Showing gratitude, thanking someone, not only makes the person feel appreciated but it also helps our brain give us that dopamine rush. How do you feel when someone thanks you for doing something - like moving furniture or carrying something for someone else? You felt good, right? Well, it also made them feel good to have help and to show thanks for that task.
Practice thanking others for helping you. Write a letter so someone to thank them for being such a good friend. Send a text to your mom thanking them for lunch. Show gratitude and spread the happy!
Celebrating our Veterans
Thank You For Your Service
As of 2014, the VA estimates there were 22 million military veterans in the U.S. population. These men and women fought for our country to be one of a freedom unlike any other country in the world.
Some of us have loved ones who have served in the military. Some of us have lost loved ones to the wars fought. Some of us still have loved ones in the military. They serve so that we don't have to. They protect us so that we are safe.
Thank a Veteran!
