Ignite Dual Credit

Curriculum day dual credit courses take place on M/W/F and replace a high school course in a scholar's schedule. These courses usually include a choice of English, math, and history courses that students can choose.

Production day dual credit courses take place on T/R and are in addition to a scholar's M/W/F coursework.

The Ignite Senior Fellowship combines dual credit coursework in a cohort-driven environment with industry experience in an academic internship.

Announcements

From Gateway:

"Hello dual-credit students! Advising for the next year's degree seeking seniors is taking longer than anticipated. If your schedule hasn't been created, Ms. Anderson will be reaching out to you over the next few weeks. We can meet online via Teams, at Gateway's Edgewood campus or at Ignite. Keep an eye on your Gateway email, as that's how I will be contacting you!

If you have an interest in taking summer courses, please email me at heather.anderson@kctcs.edu within the next week. Summer classes are not required and may not be appropriate for all students.

Finally, if you have not paid your bill, please do so as they are now past due. You can access your bill and payment information through your Student Services Account.

Thank you!" --from Heather Anderson

5/11

Course confirmations have been sent to all incoming sophomore and junior students. The only changes that are allowed are for classes that you've already taken or drops. There are no additions at this time. Incoming seniors should expect schedules to be emailed within the next week. Don't forget to meet with Ms. Anderson for advising if you are on track for the degree. heather.anderson@kctcs.edu

If you do not have the qualifying ACT or score for your upcoming Dual Credit class, please be sure to take the Ed Ready test. You need to earn a qualifying score, but if you do not, you can complete Study Paths (modules) to qualify. See the qualifying scores you need here on the Ed Ready Help Sheet

Once you have qualified, please send a screenshot of the completion to heather.anderson@kctcs.edu and me at lori.knapp-lindsay@boone.kyschools.us
