To kick start this year’s recycling program, we are asking all of our new fourth graders to start saving their aluminum cans and plastic bottles to bring in starting Monday, August 30th. Below are a few tips that we have learned from our recycling program. Please take the time to review these tips before sending in any recyclables.
To kick start this year’s recycling program, we are asking all of our new fourth graders to start saving their aluminum cans and plastic bottles to bring in starting Monday, August 30th. Flatten all plastic bottles and aluminum cans before bagging them up

We found that if the plastic bottles (DO NOT include tops inside bag) and aluminum cans were already crushed before bring them in, there would be more room for more recycling.
