The Semiconductor Studies Lab is one arm of the NSF CREST Center at Boise State University. The goal of the Semiconductor Studies Lab is to reimagine how we engage students in semiconductor science education and research through an examination of current practices and lab cultures, and iterative design of innovative new practices, pedagogies and cultures. This work is informed by, and informs, research in science education, sociology of science and the history and philosophy of science.
Want to get involved? We have a VIP starting in Fall 2026 and it would be a great fit for students from sociology, women's studies, philosophy, and education (and more!). If you'd like to join before then, contact leslieatkins@boisestate.edu
