Whether you have questions about course selection, want to discuss your future goals, or simply need someone to talk to, I'm here to listen, guide, and empower you.

Throughout the year, I am available for individual consultation. I also provide classroom presentations and activities that will help you build essential skills for a successful academic journey. From time management and study strategies to coping with stress and developing healthy relationships, I'm here to equip you with the tools you need to thrive.

Remember, seeking support is a sign of strength, and I'm here to provide confidential and caring support to all students. My mission is to ensure that you feel heard, valued, and supported in achieving your goals. As a counselor, I am also available to facilitate and enhance communication between parents and teachers. 

I'm excited to work alongside you as you navigate this important phase of your education.  Students are characterized by rapid physical growth, curiosity about their world and an emerging self-identity. 

School counselors have an impact on these years by implementing a school counseling program and collaborating with school staff, parents and the community to create a safe, respectful learning environment whereby young adolescents can maximize personal and academic achievement. 

School counselors enhance the learning process and promote academic, career and social/emotional development. School counseling programs are essential for students to achieve optimal personal growth, acquire positive social skills and values, set informed career goals and realize full academic potential to become productive, contributing members of the world community. 

School counselors hold a master’s degree and required state certification in school counseling. Maintaining certification includes ongoing professional development to stay current with education reform and challenges facing today’s students.
