Hello Hillcrest Families and Friends! 

I started my journey as a school counselor here at Hillcrest in August of 2022 and have loved getting the opportunity to work with such amazing staff, families and students! I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work in 2020 and my Master of Social Work in 2022, both through Boise State University. I am currently a Licensed Master of Social Work through the Idaho Board of Occupational Licenses. 

Although I wear a variety of hats at Hillcrest, some of the services I provide are:

• Class Lessons - social/emotional/academic grade specific lessons performed in the classroom setting 

• Individual Counseling - short term & solution focused "one on one" sessions focused on social, emotional and academic needs. Students are able to meet with me by completing a counselor slip

• Small Group Counseling - sessions conducted on topic specific needs in a small group setting (3-6 students)

As we head into the 2024-2025 school year, I look forward to help welcoming our new class of Kindergarteners and helping prepare our 6th graders for their next academic journey into Junior High.
