Mrs. Boersig English 7

It takes only one person, performing one act of kindness, to start a ripple effect that has the endless potential to bring happiness and a sense of belonging to a countless number of people.

What ripple will you start today?

Welcome to Unleveled English 7 where students will practice thinking, reading and writing critically and creatively. Each quarter, an essential question will guide our work as students practice writing informative, persuasive and narrative essays. Students will be encouraged to find their voice and style while using figurative language and a multitude of writing techniques to enhance their written expression.

Thinking Maps will be utilized as an instructional tool for brainstorming ideas and organizing thoughts. In addition to practicing the conventions of English, students will also learn how to site evidence using MLA format, perform research, compile information from multiple source types and effectively communicate their ideas in writing.
