Josh Madzy

About Me

Hello all! My name is Mr. Madzy, and this is my 2nd year teaching as a Hawk. I am a mountaineer grad and alumni of the WVU swimming and diving team. I am originally from Pittsburgh and a black and gold fan through and through! My goal is to invest in every student who walks through the door, while also building strong character traits such as passion, hard work, and integrity. I believe that all students can succeed in math, no matter what pre-requisite knowledge they may have. 

This year, I will be teaching Math 3 LA, Math 3 STEM, Math 1, and ACT/SAT Prep. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns for me. I am happy and willing to help! Below, you will find the course syllabi attached for all of my classes. With great excitement, I cannot wait to embark on another year of teaching mathematics at UHS.
