Host a Group Event at Magnolia
Magnolia Healing Arts Collaborative hosts selected workshops, classes, circles, meditation experiences, creative gatherings, movement offerings, talks, and other thoughtfully designed group events that align with the values and community of Magnolia Center.
These events are not simple room rentals. They are collaborative experiences in which Magnolia and the facilitator each contribute to bringing the event to life.
The facilitator brings their expertise, preparation, materials, and professional delivery of the experience.
Magnolia may provide the space, registration and payment collection, participant communication, promotional support, setup assistance, check-in, standard waivers, onsite hosting, and access to our established community.
Because every event is different, each proposal is reviewed individually for alignment, audience fit, timing, safety, space needs, pricing, preparation, and operational sustainability.
Magnolia may approve, decline, postpone, or request changes to a proposed event before it is confirmed.
For most Magnolia-hosted workshops, classes, circles, and creative experiences, the standard revenue share is:
60% to the Facilitator
40% to Magnolia Healing Arts Collaborative
This structure reflects the shared work involved in producing the event.
The facilitator generally covers their own preparation, materials, supplies, travel, and delivery expenses from their 60% share.
Magnolia covers its normal payment-processing, promotional, administrative, facility, and hosting expenses from its 40% share.
The revenue share is calculated from event income actually collected. Refunds, chargebacks, and complimentary registrations are not included.
Different arrangements may be discussed for events requiring unusual setup, additional staffing, significant Magnolia resources, substantial material costs, outside co-facilitators, special pricing, unusually low ticket prices, or another operating structure.
All terms are confirmed before the event is promoted or registration opens.
Depending on the agreed event structure, Magnolia may provide:
Use of the approved studio, common area, or small-group space
Standard tables and chairs
Registration and payment collection
Participant confirmations and basic communication
Standard waivers and check-in
One Magnolia-branded event graphic
An event description and registration page
Promotion through selected Magnolia channels
Reasonable setup assistance
An onsite Magnolia representative
Basic cleanup and resetting of the space
Reconciliation of event income and payment of the facilitator’s agreed share
Promotional support varies depending on the event, lead time, audience fit, calendar timing, and Magnolia’s overall marketing schedule. Inclusion in Magnolia’s marketing channels does not guarantee a specific number of posts, emails, registrations, or sales.
The facilitator is responsible for:
A clear and thoughtfully developed event concept
Accurate event information supplied by the agreed deadline
Professional preparation and facilitation
Any specialist materials, tools, handouts, or equipment
Appropriate quantities of supplies for registered participants
Safe and responsible use of all materials and practices
Relevant training, credentials, insurance, waivers, screening, or safety information when required
Beginning and ending the event on time
Remaining present through participant departure and agreed cleanup
Active participation in promoting the event
Respectful care of the space and equipment
Magnolia’s promotional support should not be viewed as Magnolia being solely responsible for filling the event.
Final event information should normally be provided at least six weeks before the proposed event date to allow time for review, registration setup, graphic creation, promotion, and participant communication.
Before an event is confirmed, Magnolia and the facilitator will agree on:
Event title and description
Date, time, setup, and cleanup
Ticket price
Minimum and maximum attendance
Materials and equipment
Revenue-sharing terms
Marketing responsibilities
Registration deadline
Cancellation terms
Safety, waiver, or intake requirements
Submitting or discussing an event idea does not guarantee approval.
Our initial Founding Partner group is now taking shape, and additional group-event opportunities will be considered gradually as the collaborative develops.
If you offer thoughtfully designed workshops, classes, circles, creative experiences, meditation gatherings, movement, sound, education, or other aligned group offerings, you are welcome to introduce yourself for future consideration.
