I wanted to take a deeper look into why so many people spend so much time watching and playing sports. I was hoping to find out the true meaning of sports through the art of photography and photoshopping images. I believe after taking this class and investing further, I've found the true meaning of sports. I've learned that many people turn to sports to get their mind off the real world. People turn to sports in times of crisis, if someone is having a rough or bad day they can rely on sports to help them take their mind off that. While creating these pieces, I noticed myself that it takes your mind off the real world, when taking these photos I wasn't thinking about anything but the photos. It could have been art in general that takes my mind off things but I think taking pictures of sports really helped because it's something I love myself, so being able to do so really helped.
