Located a scant 30 minutes from the Eagle County Regional Airport, and 15 minutes from Beaver Creek, this is an easily accessible vacation rental with every amenity imaginable.
The north facing main deck gives a nearly 270°, unobstructed view of the Rockies, and would make a fantastic venue for a wedding with up to 30 guests.
What we love about this site:
Over 6,000 sq. ft. of living space with an incredible view of the Rockies.
It's a four-season venue.
A short (less than 2 minute) walk to a spot that overlooks the town of Edwards, CO. (It also serves as a launch point for paragliders).
Beautifully designed and can easily accommodate up to 16 people.
Potential drawbacks of this site
It is a popular vacation rental, so there may be availability issues.
We advise a 4 wheel drive vehicle beginning in the late fall to early spring.
Accessibility
Parking: can accommodate 5-8 cars, but the driveway can get icy after a snowfall. There's another parking area just a short walk away that can accommodate another 4-5 cars, as well as a public lot near the interstate that would require a shuttle.
Vehicle type: for winter, make sure your vehicle has good ground clearance to get over snow, as well as 4-wheel drive for potential ice. For weddings held between September 1st and May 31st, note that Colorado has strict traction laws in place that affect what type of vehicle you are allowed to drive in the mountains. If you are planning a Colorado mountain wedding between these dates, please thoroughly read this blog post so you'll be driving the right type of vehicle. (Don't rely on the car rental companies to fill you in on this; our experience is that they don't.)

Note: as of this writing, the Triangle Cabin is available as a vacation rental. However, most property owners will not inform us if they pull a house from the market. If you find this home is no longer being offered, please let us know.
