Not far outside Evergreen, is this neat park that offers several different options for ceremony sites. Want an overlook? You got it. Want trees? It has them. Want an open grassland? Yep, that's here too. To really top off the rustic feel, there's also a barn on the grounds that can provide an interesting backdrop.
While the sites all vary in what they offer, they're all, at most, a 15-minute walk from each other, making this site a great chance to get multiple backgrounds for photographs. With that said, to get to the overlook, there is an uphill hike ahead of you.
What we love about this site:
A myriad of different backdrops.
Really neat barn.
It's a four-season venue.
All the sites are within a short walk (15 minutes) via dirt paths.
Potential drawbacks of this site
For those with accessibility issues, the overlook isn't a viable option.
It's a fairly popular park. We recommend weekday evening weddings.
Accessibility
Parking: ample.
Vehicle type: for winter, make sure your vehicle has good ground clearance to get over snow, as well as 4-wheel drive for potential ice. For weddings held between September 1st and May 31st, note that Colorado has strict traction laws in place that affect what type of vehicle you are allowed to drive in the mountains. If you are planning a Colorado mountain wedding between these dates, please thoroughly read this blog post so you'll be driving the right type of vehicle. (Don't rely on the car rental companies to fill you in on this; our experience is that they don't.)
Other accessibility concerns: this park has a multitude of different sites that could host a ceremony. Be aware that some of those sites do require a walk to get to, and some are uphill.

Blue Sky Elopements and Client's assigned wedding professionals are not responsible for issues related to unforeseen closures/restrictions/inaccessibility of unbooked (i.e. Clients do not pay to reserve their location) venues. If Client chooses to be married at a public venue that is not reserved in advance, then it is Client's responsibility to ensure the venue is accessible on the wedding day. Note: additional fees will be applied if Blue Sky Elopements needs to reschedule vendors due to a change in venue.
