No trip to Colorado is complete without a visit to this site, regardless of marital status, though it does have a few tucked away areas that are great to say "I do". This site is quintessential Colorado; from the colossal red monolith stone formations, to the open skies and panoramic views of Denver.
There are some reservable sites, and due to the popularity of this park, we advise a morning to early afternoon ceremony.

The park itself. The views and backdrop are incredible.

Potential drawbacks of this site
The park is an incredibly popular place. Don't count on seclusion.
Weekends and evening are the busiest times of the day, with Summer and Fall being the busiest times of the year.
Accessibility
Parking: limited, and can fill up. We strongly encourage carpooling for this site.
Vehicle type: for winter, make sure your vehicle has good ground clearance to get over snow, as well as 4-wheel drive for potential ice. For weddings held between September 1st and May 31st, note that Colorado has strict traction laws in place that affect what type of vehicle you are allowed to drive in the mountains. If you are planning a Colorado mountain wedding between these dates, please thoroughly read this blog post so you'll be driving the right type of vehicle. (Don't rely on the car rental companies to fill you in on this; our experience is that they don't.)

Red Rocks Park has a sheltered picnic area with enough space for 35 people for a $97 fee. It's available from May through September.
