This site is situated in a lovely wooded (redwoods!) park located within the city limits of San Francisco. It's wonderfully peaceful and feels like you're miles away from everything. The amphitheater and onsite clubhouse can be rented and so are often used by couples having a larger wedding. However, if you have only 5-6 guests or less, the park is large enough to allow you to tuck into a part of it and still have a lovely intimate setting even if there is a larger wedding going on there that day.
There is an off-leash dog park on site and a children's playground, but they are nowhere near the place where you'll be having your ceremony--you won't even know the kids and dogs are there. (The park is over 30 acres) Just off the parking lot is a lovely wooded area with a stream and a small wooden bridge--wonderfully secluded and romantic. (See photos and video)
It has open house viewing for the clubhouse on weekends from 9:30 to 10, so you'll want to avoid planning your wedding for those times.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This site is home to a series of free summer concerts. You will want to check the schedule to make sure there isn't an event planned for your wedding day.

If you want to rent the clubhouse, we can incorporate the fee into your package. Because there is a six-hour minimum, rental fee for the clubhouse runs around $1,600. However, that would give you exclusive use of the adjacent redwood forest.
Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve and New Years are NOT reservable. In addition, certain weekends over the summer are reserved in advance for the Stern Grove Music Festival and Oct 21 through Oct 29, 2019 are reserved for SFRPD Scare Grove event.
The clubhouse will be closed from December 24 through January 31 for yearly maintenance.
