This beach site is located just north of the city of Half Moon Bay. It's described as having a more secluded feeling than other nearby beaches. That may be because parking is limited. Because of that, we restrict the days and time we will perform weddings here to weekdays in summer.
It is a pristine white-sand beach with both crashing waves and bluffs that offer fabulous backdrops for a small wedding.
Another nice feature of this site is its location. It's situated near quality lodging and dining options, making it a good option for keeping everything close by.

Parking: small lot. We STRONGLY recommend carpooling.
Access from parking: you'll be walking downhill on a dirt path from parking to the beach.

Max vehicles accommodated: 15-20, but the parking lot can fill up early and stay that way. Strongly recommend carpooling.

This site requires a permit for a wedding of any size. The permit fee is $325. We will roll that amount into your package fee and obtain the permit for you. The State of California also requires a refundable damage deposit and event liability insurance, both of which Blue Sky Elopements will cover on your behalf.
