Complete with a fabulous wooden staircase (if you want to make an entrance!), this site has some incredible surroundings. It features a pier, long, light brown sand beach, as well as a partially sunken freighter! It really has quite a bit of character about it.
What we love about this site:

Can be a very busy beach location.

Accessibility
Parking: parking can be difficult, especially during the summer months. There's plenty of it, but the parking lot can fill up and stay that way. We highly recommend carpooling.
Access from parking: 5–10-minute walk over cement walkways to get to the beach.
Additional Logistics

Suitable for children: yes, but make sure someone is holding their hands when near the water.
Max vehicles accommodated: enough to accommodate up to 30 guests, but we still strongly recommend carpooling.

Wedding Permit Fee: $350.
Permit Notes: permit applications submitted with less than 30 days to go will have an additional $110 fee added. Permit applications not accepted for weddings with less than a 12-day advance notice.
There is also a refundable $250 damage deposit required. Blue Sky will cover this for our couples. Couples will also be added to the Blue Sky event liability policy (required by the state of California) so no need to purchase the required event insurance for this site. This saves our couples approximately $125 - $150.
A minimum of two weeks notice is necessary to apply for this permit.
