The beautiful private site in Carmel is both a hotel and ceremony site, so we've checked it out for you. It's one of our (and our couples') favorite venues.


Located on a hill overlooking Monterey Bay, it offers to-die for views, upscale rooms and superior customer service. Some of the suites serve double duty as both a place to stay and a place to be married. Their ocean view suites on the first floor have expansive covered balconies as well as living areas with floor to ceiling windows. Need to pull your ceremony indoors due to weather? No problem! If your wedding has eight people or less, this is an ideal option.


If your wedding is larger than that, you'll want to look at their terrace deck. Available only between 11AM and 2PM, this room accommodates up to 20 and we can reserve it for you--along with the adjacent living room. They'll set up chairs for your guests and you'll have use of both spaces for the full three hours if you want that much time. The room (next to the terrace deck) has a warm and inviting fireplace should there be a chill in the air. Perfect place for an after-ceremony small gathering. The deck is not covered--although they have free-standing umbrellas (also heaters if you need them).
