Welcome to my classroom!
Hi there! I’m thrilled to begin my second year in the Royal Family. I'll be teaching English I, English III, Psychology, and advising our awesome Yearbook team. Whether we’re unpacking Shakespeare, decoding dreams, or capturing memories for the yearbook, you can expect a class full of curiosity, conversation, and maybe a few geeky tangents.
I believe learning is better when it’s personal, so I work hard to get to know my students and build a classroom where everyone feels seen, supported, and maybe even a little inspired. Bring your questions, your quirks, and I'll bring my coffee—let’s make it a great year!

About Mrs. Tipton
This is my fifth year as a teacher. After earning my Bachelor's in English and my Master's in Teaching, both at UTK, I taught for two years at Halls High School in Knox County before my family relocated to Washington State. I taught at OCEAN K-12 School there, an Alternative Learning Environment School, and while it was definitely a fun adventure, I'm so happy to be back home in my Appalachian mountains. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, writing novels, hanging out with my family, or playing video games. I finished my second Master's in Creative Writing this January, and started the graduate program to earn my EdS in Instructional Leadership at LMU this summer. I love learning!
