The Black y Brown Arts Festival (BBBAF) is a celebration and showcase of African, African-American, Hispanic, Latinx, and Native American creative arts and artists, affirming community space, preserving arts appreciation, and pride in the spirit of diversity of the local Bloomington community. The festival will provide a medium for local talent to showcase visual and performance art in an environment that engages the audience with artists and their work.

The Bloomington Black & Brown Arts Festival is seeking submissions of a variety of art styles and forms including but not limited to spoken word, visual arts, ceramics, performance, dance, and craft. To submit works submissions are due Monday, September 6th at 5:30 p.m. Artists/performers selected will be asked to submit a $15.00 non-refundable fee to reserve space. Artists will be allowed to sell their works.
