During the month of November we are going to learn about Chile. Students will be able to:

• recognize the flag
• learn the capital
• identity famous people
• identify Chile on the map
• learn about coins, food, and any interest the students have

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!

National Hispanic Heritage Week began in 1968 under President Lydon Johnson and was specided as the week including September 15-16.

September 15th: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua

September 16th: Mexico

September 18th: Chile

In 1988 President Ronald Reagan expanded it to cover and an entire month- from September 15 to October 15.

La Semana Nacional de la Herencia Hispana comenzo en 1968 bajo la presidencia de Lydon Johnson y fue especificada como la semana incluyendo el 15-16 de septiembre.
